Welcome to Ballymodan Family Practice.
The practice was established in 1978 by Dr. Anthony Calnan. Dr Joanne Gaynor joined the practice in 2013. As the practice expanded, Dr. Ailish Bohane joined in 2017, followed by Dr Aideen Coleman in 2018.
At Ballymodan Family Practice we aim to provide a highly professional primary care service in the community, in a courteous and confidential manner. We provide a broad range of medical services and our aim is to provide the best possible healthcare service to all our patients. We provide medical care to both medical card & private patients.

Appointments can be made by telephoning the surgery at 023 8844 577 or in person by calling to the reception desk.
(Routine appointments between 9am and 5pm, 5pm-6pm for urgent medical appointments)
Monday to Friday - 9am to 6pm.
Opening Hours
The surgery telephone lines are closed from 1pm to 2pm. During this time, a recorded message will give you the telephone number for emergencies.
After 6pm emergency medical care is provided with our out of hours service Southdoc.
